The First Judicial District Attorney’s Office has an opening for a Victim-Witness Assistant. This position requires some knowledge of the criminal justice system, court proceedings, and procedures with the District Attorney's office; communication and organizational skills; ability to prepare reports and correspondence; ability to work with diverse individuals and agencies.
Requirements: Associates Degree in criminal justice, social sciences, or related field or at least two (2) years work experience in the criminal justice system, criminal law, human services, or other related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, social sciences, or related field; or four (4) years work experience in a related field.
